To call the naked human form "sinful", "indecent", etc. is to say, "That which God has created is perverted...we must cover it up with something that man has made!"
I think it is far more pious to paint a depiction of Bharat Matha nude than it would be to clothe her in the trappings of human-fabricated clothing. To look upon a breast, a navel, a phallus or vagina and think blasphemous thoughts is to think that we are impure when we are naked, and to think this is to think that we are created impure, and therefore, that the One who created us must likewise be some kind of pervert for creating us naked.
